Miranza Begitek is a benchmark in ophthalmology in Gipuzkoa, with a track record of 25 years, in which it has been reaping excellent results and has earned the trust of highly satisfied patients.

At our Miranza Begitek clinic in San Sebastian-Donostia, we boast more than 1,200 square metres of facilities dedicated exclusively to cutting-edge ophthalmic care, both in the consulting and surgical areas. Our facilities are always kept up-to-date thanks to ongoing investment in the best means and equipment, including a diagnostic test room, specially designed by our team and one of the most advanced throughout Europe. Furthermore, we have a consultation centre in Beasain and Zarautz, which allows us to reach out to patients in the area, hence facilitating their eye health monitoring and care.

Thanks to the specialisation of each of the seventeen professionals (ophthalmologists, all of whom have been trained through residencies at the best hospitals in Spain) that make up our medical team, we provide the best solution to each eye problem: cataract, presbyopia, refractive errors, diseases of the retina and cornea, glaucoma, functional and aesthetic problems of the eyes and periocular area, paediatric pathology and dry eye. Together with our renowned team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, nurses and administrative staff, we work together to offer you excellent customised and multidisciplinary care.
We also feature seven opticians/optometrists trained at the best universities in Spain.
