Miranza Virgen de Luján has been a leader in Seville’s ophthalmology for more than 25 years. Recently, it was the first clinic in Seville to perform a corneal transplantation using a femtosecond laser.

Our clinic, located in the Los Remedios district of Seville, has spacious and modern facilities, with six consulting and two operating rooms, certified in terms of quality under the ISO 9001:2015 standard as well as with patient safety and environmental certifications. Equipped with advanced and safe technology in ophthalmic surgery, in our surgical area, the specialists at Miranza Virgen de Luján perform everything from treatments for an advanced approach of myopia, eyestrain or cataracts to corneal transplants or macula and retinal treatments.

At Miranza Virgen de Luján, a team of 30 professionals is dedicated to offering you the most comprehensive and personalised medical/surgical care, thanks to the joint work of ophthalmologists, optometrists, assistants and non-healthcare staff. Our medical team, made up of eight doctors specialising in different ophthalmological areas, is headed by Dr. María Gessa, the centre’s medical director.
