The event will bring together more than 100 vision care professionals to focus on innovation, specialised training, and collaboration between optometrists and ophthalmologists.

Miranza Clínica El Brillante will host the III Foro de Óptica y Optometría on 3 October at the, Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Córdoba bringing together more than 100 specialists in eye care. The event aims to promote scientific knowledge, the exchange of professional experiences, and collaboration between optometrists and ophthalmologists.

The forum has established itself as a leading platform for addressing the key challenges currently facing the eye care sector, highlighting the importance of a multidisciplinary approach and coordination among the different professionals involved in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of visual disorders.

The programme will feature presentations and panel discussions covering topics such as accommodation and diagnostic methods for accurately determining the required addition, the use of progressive ophthalmic lenses, multifocal contact lenses, and the latest developments in presbyopia surgery.

Through the organisation of the III Optics and Optometry Forum, Miranza Clínica El Brillante is reinforcing its commitment to the continuing professional development of healthcare professionals and to generating knowledge that contributes to improving the quality of patient care. Collaboration between ophthalmology and optometry enables a more comprehensive approach to eye care, providing a holistic view of each patient and a response tailored to their individual needs.

This third edition will take place over a full day, with morning and afternoon sessions, and will be supported by the Colegio Oficial de Ópticos-Optometristas de Andalucía (COOOA) as co-organiser.

The event will also bring together leading suppliers from the optical sector, who will take part in the exhibition area with stands open during breaks and networking sessions, encouraging the exchange of experiences and professional.
