In fact, the clinic is a benchmark in corneal transplants, as it was the first private centre authorised by the Regional Government of Andalusia to perform these procedures in the province of Seville, which has enabled it to gather a great deal of experience in this type of surgery. Recently, it was the first clinic in Seville to perform a corneal transplantation using a femtosecond laser.

At Miranza Virgen de Luján, a team of 30 professionals is dedicated to offering you the most comprehensive and personalised medical/surgical care, thanks to the joint work of ophthalmologists, optometrists, assistants and non-healthcare staff. Our medical team, made up of eight doctors specialising in different ophthalmological areas, is headed by Dr. María Gessa, the centre’s medical director.
