
Miranza Sevilla brings together three clinics to lead ophthalmology in the Andalusian capital
The launch event took place at the Hotel Alfonso XIII and was attended by a distinguished representation of the city’s institutional, professional, and social spheres.
Miranza held the presentation of Miranza Sevilla on Friday, February 19, at the Hotel Alfonso XIII in Seville. This new brand brings together the three leading ophthalmology clinics in the Andalusian city: Virgen de Luján, CIMO, and Tecnolaser.
With this integration, the Group strengthens its commitment to innovation, research, and technology in the service of eye health for the people of Seville, with the aim of consolidating its leadership in ophthalmology in the city.
Currently, Miranza has more than 1,000 professionals and 300 ophthalmologists. In Andalusia, the Group now operates nine centers, employing more than 60 professionals who carry out 60,000 ophthalmology consultations, more than 82,000 diagnostic tests, and over 17,000 surgeries annually.
The launch event took place in the Andalusian capital and featured a prominent institutional, professional, and social representation from the city. Representing the Regional Government of Andalusia were Jorge Paradela Gutiérrez, Regional Minister of Industry, Energy and Mines; Tomás Burgos Gallego, Deputy Minister of the Presidency; Gonzalo Balbontín, Managing Director of the Progreso y Salud Foundation; Laura Martínez Sánchez, Coordinator of the Area of Education, Youth, Municipal Buildings and Health Promotion of the Seville City Council; and Blanca Gastalver, Delegate for Education, Youth, Municipal Buildings, Sport, Health Promotion and the South District of the Seville City Council.
Representing Miranza were Ramón Berra, Chief Executive Officer of Miranza; Dr. Federico Alonso Aliste, Medical Director of Miranza Sevilla; Arantxa Herrera, Manager of the three Miranza Sevilla centers; María Gessa, Regional Medical Director for Andalusia; Julián Cezón, Founder and Medical Director of Miranza CIMO; Jonás Morais D’Almeida, Regional Director for Andalusia; Ricardo Mateos, Chief Financial Officer of Miranza; and Francisco Malagón, Chief Operations Officer of Miranza.
