Miranza opens new center in Torrelavega following the integration of Clínica Bedia

We are celebrating a new beginning. We have officially inaugurated Miranza Torrelavega, a new project in Cantabria, following the integration of the renowned Clínica Bedia into our national network of specialized ophthalmology centers.

This integration represents a new boost to Miranza’s presence in Northern Spain. Moreover, the operation combines Clínica Bedia’s long-standing track record and strong local roots with our healthcare model, focused on medical excellence, technological innovation, and surgical specialization.

The integration also fosters knowledge sharing and resource optimization between the Torrelavega and Santander centers, driving clinical and organizational synergies that ultimately enhance the patient experience.

The Torrelavega-based clinic has more than 20 years of experience in comprehensive eye care. The center carries out its activity by combining personalized care with cutting-edge technology. Its highly qualified medical team specializes in advanced techniques such as LASIK, LASEK, intraocular lens implantation, cataract and presbyopia surgery, and glaucoma treatment.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr. Emilio Bedia, Medical Director of Miranza Torrelavega; Francisco Malagón, Chief Operating Officer of Miranza; Nerea Sagastume, Northern Regional Director of Miranza; Enrique Vélez, Manager of Miranza Santander; and Ana Muñoz, Clinic Coordinator at Miranza Santander.
