The Barcelona headquarters of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imo.es\/en\/\">IMO Grupo Miranza<\/a> will host the sixth edition of <a href=\"https:\/\/miranza.es\/en\/tir-2026\/\">Trends in Retina<\/a> (TIR2026) from November 12 to 14. This is one of the most relevant international meetings in the field of medical and surgical retina, and it is expected to welcome more than 300 experts from over a dozen countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This congress will bring together leading eye health professionals to discuss the most significant advances in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of retinal diseases, as well as in clinical research and emerging new technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TIR2026 will take place at the IMO Grupo Miranza Barcelona Convention Center and <strong>is designed with a practical approach, promoting dynamic learning and scientific updating for attendees<\/strong>. The program will include medical and surgical retina sessions, keynote lectures, analysis of complex clinical cases, and presentations on innovative therapies and cutting-edge technologies that are shaping the future direction of the specialty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5e87520d52adf4af3d5bfb18958952fd\" style=\"color:#71cc98\"><strong>A committee with extensive expertise<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The organizing committee of TIR2026 is composed of <strong>Dr. Mar\u00eda Cristina Boh\u00f3rquez<\/strong>, ophthalmologist in the retina and vitreous department at IMO Grupo Miranza; <strong>Dr. Borja Corc\u00f3stegui<\/strong>, co-founder and former medical and scientific director of IMO Grupo Miranza and emeritus CLF member of Miranza; <strong>Dr. Jos\u00e9 Garc\u00eda-Arum\u00ed<\/strong>, specialist at IMO Grupo Miranza and full member of the Royal Academy of Medicine of Catalonia (Real Academia de Medicina de Catalu\u00f1a); <strong>Dr. Carlos Mateo<\/strong>, founding partner and retina specialist ophthalmologist at IMO Grupo Miranza; <strong>Dr. Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Ruiz Moreno<\/strong>, specialist at IMO Grupo Miranza; <strong>Dr. Jorge Ruiz Medrano<\/strong>, specialist at IMO Grupo Miranza; and <strong>Dr. Xavier Subir\u00e0s<\/strong>, specialist at IMO Grupo Miranza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The organizers have structured the congress to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience among professionals, with formats designed for discussion and clinical debate, highlighting the importance of international collaboration in spreading best practices and therapeutic advances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Mateo explains that \u201cTrends in Retina has become an essential forum for driving the advancement of medical and surgical retina on an international scale.
