We have formalized a collaboration agreement with the Fundaci\u00f3n Oxiria, an organization dedicated to the training and employment integration of people with intellectual disabilities, with the aim of <strong>improving eye health and promoting the social inclusion<\/strong> of those the foundation supports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 2015 by Ana Arroyo Ballesteros, Fundaci\u00f3n Oxiria was created with a clear mission: to support young people with intellectual disabilities in their personal and professional development. The organization actively works to facilitate their integration into the workforce, while also encouraging an active lifestyle, fostering independence in daily life, and enhancing social skills. The foundation\u2019s name is also a tribute to its founder\u2019s father, a master florist whose shops were called \u201cOxiria.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This agreement strengthens the commitment of both organizations to more accessible, humane, and inclusive care. In this regard, the partnership includes special conditions for ophthalmological treatments for students, employees, and family members up to the second degree of kinship connected to the foundation, thus facilitating access to specialized eye care services under preferential conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-71df339a06531ab53d028af18506d5e9\" style=\"color:#73cf91\"><strong>Training and outreach impact<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond the clinical scope, the collaboration incorporates a significant educational and outreach component. Through this partnership, the foundation\u2019s beneficiaries gain first-hand insight into how an ophthalmology clinic operates and take part in adapted talks and educational activities. In this way, <a href=\"https:\/\/miranza.es\/en\/\" id=\"https:\/\/miranza.es\/en\/\">Miranza<\/a> helps bring the healthcare environment closer to the students and supports their development and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Miranza\u2019s CEO, Ram\u00f3n Berra<\/strong>, explains: \u201cBy collaborating and making our medical expertise and network of specialized clinics available, together with the support of a leading organization such as Fundaci\u00f3n Oxiria, we will not only provide higher-quality care but also help drive a change in how the healthcare system engages with people with intellectual disabilities\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, <strong>Ana Arroyo Ballesteros, director and founder of Fundaci\u00f3n <\/strong><strong>Oxiria<\/strong>, highlights: \u201cThese kinds of initiatives represent a very valuable opportunity for our students.
