The initiative focuses on the prevention and maintenance of eye health, enabling accurate diagnoses and providing appropriate treatment for each condition. This partnership will help improve the quality of life for those who, due to a lack of resources, face difficulties in accessing medical care in this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-dfe6db847bd64879af18063dacc145cb\" style=\"color:#71cc98\"><strong><strong>Eye care for those who need it most<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement, signed at the Parish of the Holy Trinity in Algeciras by <strong>Vicente Pablo Ortells Polo, Director of Diocesan C\u00e1ritas of C\u00e1diz<\/strong>, and <strong>Ana Sequ\u00ed, Director of the Miranza Foundation<\/strong>, establishes a framework of cooperation through which the Miranza Foundation will offer ophthalmological consultations, diagnoses, and treatments to people referred by C\u00e1ritas, thus ensuring quality and accessible medical care for those who need it most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In coordination with C\u00e1ritas and the Miranza Foundation and under the leadership of Dr. Ana Camacho, the team from <a href=\"https:\/\/miranza.es\/en\/our-eye-clinics\/miranza-algeciras\/\">Miranza Algeciras<\/a> clinic, a center specialized in eye health care, will carry out these check-ups in a facility provided for this purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/miranza.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/dra-Ana-Camacho-1-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-236516\" style=\"object-fit:cover\" srcset=\"https:\/\/miranza.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/dra-Ana-Camacho-1-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/miranza.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/dra-Ana-Camacho-1-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/miranza.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/dra-Ana-Camacho-1-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/miranza.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/dra-Ana-Camacho-1.png 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Dr. Ana Camacho, specialist at Miranza Algeciras, will lead the check-ups for individuals referred by C\u00e1ritas.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>During the signing ceremony, the <strong>Director of Diocesan C\u00e1ritas of C\u00e1diz<\/strong> emphasized the importance of this agreement, stating that \u201caccess to healthcare is a fundamental right, and this agreement allows us to take another step in the comprehensive support we offer to people in situations of exclusion.\u201d For her part, the <strong>Director of the Miranza Foundation<\/strong> expressed her organization\u2019s commitment to eye health, saying, \u201ccollaborating with C\u00e1ritas allows us to reach those who need it most and ensure that no one is left behind due to lack of ophthalmological care.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this initiative, both organizations strengthen <strong>their commitment to social inclusion and access to healthcare<\/strong>, promoting a fairer and more equitable society.
